Question of the Week #5
Boy, time flies. Summer is when many of us head out on vacation/holiday. So, this week’s question/s has us wondering:1) Where is your favorite place to go for vacation/holiday?
My favourite place is where my little family and I have time to spend together. Denmark was phantastic this Easter (and it offered very interesting shops and exhibitions for a knitter ;-))
I love France, too and Italy and England and Iceland and Oregon. Almost everywhere I have been, I did like it and would love to go back.
2) Where is one place you’d like to go?
I haven't yet been to New Zealand, Australia and Japan, but would very much like to see these countries.
Question of the Week #6
Since thinking about holidays/vacations is SO much fun, let’s continue with the theme…
Questions #6
What is your favorite type of project to take along on holiday/vacation?
Something mindless and something challenging, e. g. socks and a lace project. the one for meetings with friend and family or for knitting in the car, the other for calm moments. In summer (if it is a real hot summer) I love cotton projects.
If you’d like to share a story…Tell us about a time that you packed too much knitting or were stranded without knitting.
What a horrible thought to be stranded without knitting! No, no, I'll pack enough yarn and projects for twice the time of being away. Just in case our return may be postponed or I may run into dificulties with a project or grow tired of it. And sure enough, I'll expect to finish all the projects I took along ;-)
So, I will always travel with too much yarn.
