I am really in love with this project. It is the Crown Prince Shawl from the cover of Knitted Lace of Estonia by the magnificent Nancy Bush. The yarn I work with is an unidentifiable machine knitting yarn which is incredibly soft.

Wow! You have really made a lot of progress. I plan to make something from that book, but that one, the most beautiful, looks pretty daunting.
