I really really really love cowls. They are nice to wear, keep you warm in the cold season and are a quick knit. With a bulky yarn like this one, you can finish it within two days. (Joanna: go for it).
I made this one for one of my longest penpals in Canada from a ball of Lana Grossa left over from my cardigan. Another strong point of cowls, they are perfect to use up odd (left-over) balls or one can use a luxury yarn to make them without ruining one's budget.
The pattern as you can see, is a traditional Feather and Fan.
Ich liebe, liebe, liebe Cowls (Halswärmer?). Sie sind angenehm zu tragen, halten einen schön warm im Winter und schnell gestrickt. Mit einer dicken Wolle wie dieser sind sie in 2 Tagen längstens fertig.
Diesen hier habe ich für eine meiner längsten Brieffreundinnen gestrickt. Die Wolle war von meiner Jacke übrig geblieben. Noch ein Vorteil von cowls. Meistens kommt man mit einem Knäuel hin und kann so gut Reste verwenden oder sich mal ein Luxusgarn gönnen, ohne sich gleich finanziell zu ruinieren.
