Another finished object from last year. I crochet this for a birthday last summer:
Remember the Japanes crochet book I received for my birthday? One of the patterns is for a string full of flowers. I loved it so much, I had to put all other projects down for a while and make one for my autumn front door decoration:

Every now and then, I love to crochet, especially when it is hot outside. (Have you noticed, that crochet is very popular in traditionally hot countries, such as Italy?). When I received the latest edition of “Landlust” (yeah, one can always dream even if you live in a big city, can’t you?) and saw these lovely crochet baby shoes, I was grateful that a member of staff gave birth to a boy lately.
These shoes were made very quickly and the pattern instructions were easy to follow. It is a free pattern, alas only available in German.
