Vlinder

This is the finished Vlinder stole. Unfortunately, it does not look as nice as in the book. I am especially dissatisfied with the edge and the lack of form. Maybe, once I wear it, I will change my opinion.

Pattern/Anleitung: Nancy Marchant, Knitting Brioche.
Needle size/Nadelstärke: 5 mm
Yarn/Wolle: Misti Alpaca Lace Yarn
stole weighs: approx. 80 g

baby sweets

Every now and then, I love to crochet, especially when it is hot outside. (Have you noticed, that crochet is very popular in traditionally hot countries, such as Italy?). When I received the latest edition of “Landlust” (yeah, one can always dream even if you live in a big city, can’t you?) and saw these lovely crochet baby shoes, I was grateful that a member of staff gave birth to a boy lately.

These shoes were made very quickly and the pattern instructions were easy to follow. It is a free pattern, alas only available in German.
