Snapdragon Beret
I had some yarn left over from the Cardigan and after I had tried on her beret and liked the look, I wanted one too. I decided to knit the Snapdragon Tam, as I had liked the look of it at I Knit. However, I am not satisfied with the final result. The beret looks and feels too large. There are two reasons for this mishap, the major one is that the yarn lacks all elasticity and after blocking it is even worse, of course. Moreover, I chose size M due to the measurements given in the pattern. Now, however, I think, size S would have been just right. I am not sure what to do with it. Shall I wear it?
Was soll ich jetzt machen?

It looks nice. If really dissatisfied, you could try felting in a bit and make it smaller. I did that with one huge sweater and it got better. I did it with another and ruined it totally and threw it away.
I wouldn't wear it if it was me. Personally, I don't like floppy hats. Trying to felt it a little bit to give it more stand is a good idea, and the pattern *does* like nice. Or frog it and re-knit with yarn that has more elasticity.
