February evaluation

Last day of the month - time for an evaluation. What have I accomplished this month?

Here is the list of WiPs I started the month with:

1. Juno Regina
2. Kells
3. Crochet cardigan
4. Starmore afghan
5. Diamond upon Diamond
6. Mondnacht stole
7. Cashmere sweater
8. Alpaca sweater

And here is what I finished this month:

1. Lyra leg warmers (new project this month)
2. Cashmere sweater
3. Juno Regina
4. Baby Kimono
5. Two patches for the Starmore Afghan


Altogether approx. 910 g of yarn - 510 g from my stash!

However, my stash has not decreased, as these yarn purchases were made:

400 g Knitwitches yarns (silk and cashmere)
800 g Merino-Cashmere by scholler and stahl (a gorgeous yarn, I knit the Cashmere sweater for my LYS from)
200 g Alpaca - the 250 g I already bought last year are not enough for my son's sweater

I made progress on these projects:

2. Kells
3. Crochet cardigan
4. Starmore afghan
5. Diamond upon Diamond

Thus, I'll start February with 6 WiPs. I plan to work on/finish the following:

Kells, Diamond upon Diamond , Crochet cardigan/
Starmore Afghan.

What else happened knitwise? The Alpaca sweater was halfway done when my son discovered he didn't like the pattern. The sweater went to the frog pond and returned as 5 balls of reusable yarn.


Der Februar geht zu Ende und ich nutze den Tag, um eine Bilanz zu ziehen.

Der Monat begann mit diesen WiPs:

Zu FO's wurden:

5. Zwei Quadrate für den Starmore Afghan

Insgesamt habe ich ca. 910 g Wolle verarbeitet, davon 510 g aus meinem Vorrat!

Dennoch hat sich mein Wollvorrat erhöht, da ich folgende Wolle eingekauft habe:

400 g Knitwitches
200 g Alpaca (die 250 g, die ich schon habe, reichen nicht für den Pulli)
800 g Merino-Kaschmir von schoeller und stahl - daraus habe ich No. 2 gestrickt und das ist so ein herrliches Material.

Ich beginne den März also mit 6 WiPs (immerhin weniger als im Februar) und plane an folgenden zu arbeiten/sie fertig zu stellen:

Kells, Diamond upon Diamond , Häkeljacke/ Starmore Afghan.

Der Alpaca-Pulli fiel dem Auftrennmonster zum Opfer und hat sich statt in ein tragbares Oberteil in 5 zu verstrickende Knäuel zurückverwandelt.
