ISE

I have participated in a number of swaps lately and just noticed that I haven't shown you all the goodies I received.

In den letzten Monaten habe ich an einigen Tauschprogrammen teilgenommen und eben festgestellt, dass ich noch gar nicht alle meine Geschenke gebloggt habe.

This wonderful scarf, alpaca yarn, Cherry Tree sockyarn and buttons were in my ISE Angel scarf. After an initial mail, I never heard of my pal again, so Dyane came to my rescue as an angel and sent me these wonderful things. The scarf is very soft and goes very well with my clothes.

Zum ersten Mal nahm ich am ISE teil und zum ersten Mal mußte ein "Angel" für mich aktiv werden. Nach einer ersten e-mail hörte ich nichts mehr von meiner Partnerin. Da niemand traurig sein soll, schickte mir Dyane dieses wunderschöne Paket, mit herrlicher Alpacawolle in schokobraun, Cherry Tree Sockenwolle, Knöpfe und einen sehr schönen, sehr weichen Schal, der wunderbar zu meiner Garderobe passt.

Beim Ravelry Büchertausch bekam ich von Lisa dieses Paket:

The Pecan Pralines did not last long, believe me. They were delicious. The color of the yarn is more accurate in the first than in the second picture, but I wanted to show you the lovely band.
And although, I have had Away on my reading list for a long time, I have already read half of The Interpreter of Maladies and think it a very fine short story collection.

Die Pecans haben es nicht lange überlebt, sie waren zu köstlich. Die Farbe der Wolle ist auf dem ersten Foto besser getroffen, aber ich fand die Banderole so nett, daher mußte noch ein Foto sein. Away habe ich eigentlich schon länger auf meiner Leseliste, aber nun habe ich doch erst mit The Interpreter of Maladies angefangen und finde es eine sehr gute Kurzgeschichtensammlung.
