Wee Mushrooms

All that autumn decoration knitting began with these wee little mushrooms:

They were real fun to knit and look really, really nice. The only annoying bit was when it said in the instructions: Cast on as described here:http://
techknitting.blogspot.com/2007/02/casting-on-frommiddle-
disappearing.html

Yes, it is a rather lengthy description and therefore, maybe, difficult to include in a pattern booklet. Still, my computer is NOT switched on at all times and it certainly is not switched on when I sit down to knit and relax from the days chores. And, I certainly do not want to get up again and switch on my computer, wait for it to boot, go to the internet, and then not find the site - as happened the first time I tried days later. (The same sentence, but with a different link was printed on the hedgehog pattern, and it worked. ) Fortunately, I did not get up from my chair, but just invented my own invisible cast on.

Those are very cute, as is the hedgehog and the mousie. I think maybe the mousie is cutest, but then being Mauselina, I may be a wee bit prejudiced.
