It has been some time since I finished my Clapotis.
So many knitters in my knitting group made themselves a Clapotis, that I finally had to knit one, too. And I share the passion for this pattern!
I wanted a very long one and as I was not sure whether one skein of wollmeise sockyarn would be enough, I knit the increase and decrease part in a second color, while I used up a whole skein for the middle part. I am very happy with the result.

Pattern: Clapotis from knitty
Yarn: Wollmeise sockyarn superwash, 1 skein Tiefer See and half a skein Gewitterhimmel.
Needle size: 3.25 mm
Ist schon eine ganze Weile her, dass mein Clapotis fertig wurde...
In meiner Strickgruppe gab es so viele Mitglieder, die sich einen Clapotis strickten/gestrickt hatten, dass ich schließlich auch einen "brauchte". Ich bereue es nicht, es ist wirklich ein toller Schal.
Da ich einen langen Clapotis wollte und nicht wußte, ob dafür ein Strang Wollmeise reichen würde, habe ich den Zu- und Abnahme Teil des Schals in einer zweiten Farbe gestrickt und einen ganzen Strang für den mittleren Teil verbraucht. Jetzt ist er genau, wie ich ihn wollte.

Your clapotis is beautiful. I knit one using Noro Silk Garden a few years ago, and it is one of my very favorite knits. It is perfect for the mild winters here.
I wish I could get one skein of Wollmeise--it sounds luxurious for a clapotis.
